EVENTS
Throughout the year, Sharing Life hosts several events. These can be anywhere from fundraising and networking to making holidays and seasonal programs special for the families we serve. Each event allows us the opportunity to build community and develop relationships that help us in our mission to end hunger and poverty. If you’re new to the Sharing Life family, getting involved in our events is a fun way to learn more about our work and the communities we serve.
Our Christmas Faire is easily one of our favorite events. This event is a child-free event because we want Christmas to feel special for each parent. For this reason, we have them come in and select the toys for their children and provide gift wrapping and boxes so they can wrap the gifts themselves. Click here to learn more.
During our 2023 Back-to-School Fair 2,000 boxes of supplies were given to our students as they get ready for the next school year. Supplies are given based on grade level which helps reduce the number of supplies each parent has to purchase on their own. Click here to keep an eye out for future dates.
The Sharing Life Gala is our largest fundraiser of the year. During our gala, we hear stories from our clients, volunteers, and donors and we celebrate the work we have been able to do with the help of our sponsors and donors. Click here to learn more and to see our Gala sponsors.
Our Handbags for Hope event is SUCH A FUN TIME! We spend the morning having brunch, drinking mimosas, and playing BINGO to win a beautiful handbag. Partnerships are key to the success of Sharing Life. The work we do could not happen without these amazing partners. Our Thanksgiving baskets kick off the holiday season for our families. In November, we provide turkey and Thanksgiving sides for our families so they can enjoy a nice dinner at home. Click here to learn more about our Seasonal Programs
