FOOD PANTRY
One of the foundational services we offer is a full-service, client-choice food pantry. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we closed our indoor pantry and moved to a full drive-thru pantry method. Although it was difficult to push pause on our client-choice pantry, it forced us to think outside the box and, in doing so, two of our newest services were created. We currently offer two methods for our clients to receive nutritious foods for their families.

We have options for you
We serve the greater South East Dallas area including the towns of Mesquite, Garland, Sunnyvale, Rowlett, Rockwall, Forney, and surrounding areas. If you are a Balch Springs resident, please click here to visit our Opal J. Smith Food Pantry. FOOD PANTRY
Our client-choice pantry is available by appointment with the exception of our evening pantries. We have a large variety of food, including meats and produce, for you to choose from. Each household will leave with enough food for two full weeks. We also have items such as diapers and formula, toiletries, and household items, along with pet food available (selection of food of non-food essentials may vary from week to week, based on availability). Please note, that when you schedule your appointment to shop in our pantry, you will also have the option to shop for our clothing as well.
