We know that each of our clients has a different set of circumstances that can lead to late electric, gas, water, mortgage, or rent payments. The threat of losing any of these essential services can create extreme levels of stress, especially when paired with hunger. We also understand there may be times when our clients are having to choose whether to keep their electricity on or feed their family. For this reason, providing financial assistance for our clients is just as important as feeding them.

Our emergency financial assistance is available for all clients within the zip codes we serve in the Mesquite, Garland, Sunnyvale, Balch Springs, Seagoville, Rowlett, Rockwall, and Forney areas: 75030, 75032, 75043, 75087, 75088, 75089, 75126, 75149, 75150, 75159, 75180, 75181, 75182, 75217, 75218, 75227, 75228, 75253.

Utility Payments

Through our partnerships with multiple service providers, we have the ability  provide assistance for those who may be subject to disconnection of their services. Each application will require proof of household.  income as well as IDs for each individual within the household. In addition, we will also need a copy of the most recent bill.

Rental/Mortgage Assistance

Similar to our utility assistance programs, each rental/mortgage application is handled on a case-by-case basis. We currently offer rental assistance for Mesquite residents, and some Dallas County residents (within 75043, 75088, 75159, 75180, 75182, 75217, 75218, 75227, 75228, 75253 zip codes). Please complete our pre-screening application by clicking the button below and a staff member will reach out after review.
